"Xavier Reyes is an alumni from the musical theater branch at School for the Performing Arts. Previous theatrical credits include the musical Legally Blonde at the Hoerner Theatre in NY, Rhinoceros by Eugene Ionesco and Angel in RENT at Cornell University. Last summer he was part of the musical performing company of Cedar Fair in Ohio. Some Puerto Rico credits include Paul in Rent. As part of the musical theatre experience at School for the Performing Arts he was part of the musical Oliver as Dr. Grimwig, and Daniel's son in Once On this Island. After auditioning to over 10 schools, Xavier was admitted to Ithaca College, one of the top 5 acting and musical theatre schools in the U.S. “Thanks to School for the Performing Arts and the performance opportunities that they gave me I was able to get a grasp of the musical theatre world and the basics of it. It was a great educational and enriching experience that I will forever be grateful! Now, at Ithaca College, and currently in my junior year, the growth as a performer has been a huge one. Ithaca College has given me the necessary training tools to develop and survive as a professional actor. Offering rigorous, performance-oriented training in singing and acting techniques, with a secondary emphasis on dance, thanks to Ithaca, I feel like a grounded and strong performer. I encourage every student privileged to study at School for the Performing Arts to keep diving into their craft and never give up your passion”. "
